(Editor's note.  The following was received from Jim on 01/11/07)
2007 update. I have been in New Hampshire for almost 30 years now. My current wife, Debby, and I breed, train, and compete English Setters in grouse and woodcock field trials all over the U.S. and Canada. Debby is a special education teacher, and is very active in the National Education Association. I am Vice President of the New Hampshire Wildlife Federation, which represents all the hunters and fishermen in the state. We both spend a lot of time in Concord on political issues. Last year, we drove to Alaska to visit with Debby's father. We went north through Canada, and returned through the western U.S. A trip of a lifetime, and I got to fish some great rivers. We went to Ireland this spring, and we regularly visit Debby's daughter in San Diego.

I am trying to retire, but my landscape architect and wetland scientist business just keeps on going. I did a lot of land planning for major developments and resorts in the Northeast, but now I am working almost exclusively on ponds, wetlands, and habitat management.

Attached are two photos - the first is from last fall at the International Amateur Woodcock Championship in New Brunswick. My 6 year old setter, "Cleopatridge" took runner-up in the event. That's me holding the ribbon, and my wife Debby holding Cleo's tail. We are flanked by the two judges. The second photo was taken at a field trial in Maine. I was taking a break in the back of the van, playing the fiddle next to the dog box. That's Hooley, Ford, and Dodge looking on.

I got some e-mails from Tom Powers and Dick Preiss - looks they're still great musicians. Maybe the "Toilet Tones" can get together at the reunion. Jim Kennedy
