Hi Bill, yes, we have moved again! Our new address is 9 Fairwynds Drive, Lenox, MA, 01240. Dave and I are still working together with two of our sons in our development/building business. I took a bad fall last spring and tore the quad ligament off my knee. After surgery and rehab I am getting off a walker just in time for the snow season. We had a foot today! Van and I keep in touch but that's about it for my news of our class. Thank you for all that you do. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Best wishes, Louise Ward

This past weekend, Dave and I attended his 50th reunion at Choate.  Guess who I played tennis with?  Joe Mygatt! (Tim's cousin, of course!) We had a good laugh when we figured out the connection and as a result I was reminded that I hadn't written anything for the HGHS bio.  So here goes......

After living more than 20 years in South Florida, Dave and I did the opposite of most retiring couples and moved back North. We returned in '99 and bought some land in the Berkshires on Lake Ashmere in Hinsdale, Mass.  We still live there now.  We own and operate a construction company (L D Builders) .  Two of our sons, Matt (38) and Mike (35) work with us as we try to slow down.

Dave and I will celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary this June and one of our greatest thrills is to watch our grandchildren (4) participate in school sports, band, chorus, etc. activities.  We manage to visit our oldest son, Chris (41), and his family three or four times a year.  They live in Birmingham, Alabama.

I speak to Van every couple of weeks and we still laugh over our past days at HGHS. I so look forward to seeing everyone again.  I can't think back to my days at HGHS without smiling!

1997 recap. Louise and husband Dave have 3 children, Chris, Matt, and Mike and 4 grandchildren. Louise is working. They have built houses in Boca Raton, Ft Lauderdale, and in the Reserve in Port St. Lucie, Fla. They have spent years attending high school sporting events and playing golf as a family. She spent 20 years playing tennis in the Palm Beach and Broward Co Women’s Tennis Leagues. They share a house in Vermont with Louise’s brother Greg and enjoy holidays skiing and relaxing there. Her special accomplishment has been the caretaking of her family. “It has been a wonderful life experience and wouldn’t trade it for anything”.
